Jean-de-la-lune lives on the moon. From his silver crescent, he is envious of earthlings who are dancing and having a good time all evening. One day, Jean from the Moon attaches himself to a comet's tail and lands on Earth, but he doesn't receive a very warm welcome. After many mishaps, he is only thinking of one thing: to go back home.
